Summer 2024 Player Registration - DI, DII, DIII
Registration window for DI, DII, and DIII teams is August 4 - October 22, 2023.
Player Registration
Players are fully registered when the items listed below are completed:
- Online registration is completed.
- Registration fee is paid, or payment plans are arranged.
Late registration includes a $100 late fee. Late registrations are given a lower priority for team placement and may be subject to roster space availability. After registration closes, you will be able to register for the waitlist. If there is room on a roster in your age group, you will be invited to complete the registration and be given seven days before it is offered to the next player on the waitlist.
Registration fees do not cover:
- NEW UNIFORM KIT FOR 2023-24. Purchase the uniform package at https://www.newgensports.store/
- Tournament Registration costs (above the $1,100 MUSC reimbursement)
- Coaches for teams with no volunteer parents (U9-U12)

Team Formation & Participation Expectations
Registration with Mankato United Soccer does not guarantee any player a spot on a specific team or with a specific coach, family member, or friend.
Summer 2024 teams will be built using evaluations done by Hisham Sorour, director of coaching, and Mankato United team coaches. Evaluations are completed throughout the soccer year for players already participating in competitive league play. Evaluations include winter training, league games, and practices. Teams will be formed immediately after registration closes. Players will be notified as soon as their team roster is finalized.
Players are expected to attend all training and games in winter, spring, and summer. Before training begins, multi-sport athletes should discuss potential conflicts with the coach, team manager, or MUSC Director of Coaching. Generally, training is held after high school sports practices and games. Unexcused absences will impact players' play time during matches.
Families are expected to use PlayMetrics, the software used by Mankato United. All club-wide communication, individual team information, schedule, availability, and roster information will be posted on PlayMetrics. Click the link below for a PlayMetrics user guide.

Team Training
Summer Competitive registration fee includes an indoor rental fee for team winter training.
- 13U-19U teams will train on Scheel's Field at the MNSU All Sports dome, one hour each week from January through March, up to 12 hours.
- 9U-12U teams will train at Ignition Fitness in North Mankato, one hour each week from January through March, up to 12 hours.
Training during the spring and summer will be held in a location determined by MUSC Director of Coaching and MUSC Board based on availability. Our spring and summer practice location are typically one of the following locations:
- Mankato East HS Fields (Thomas Andersen Fields, located across from Kennedy Elementary School)
- Dakota Meadows MS
- South Central College Community Fields
- Land of Memories
- Caswell North Soccer Complex (turf field only)
Registration Fees
Summer 2024 Fees for 13U-19U DI-DIII Teams is $625.
Summer 2024 Fees for 9U-12U DI-DIII Teams is $525.
The registration fees include the following:
- A portion of indoor training
- Uniform (provided with the new uniform cycle beginning 2025 Summer season)
- Outdoor training fields
- League membership
- Player secondary insurance
- Coaches' Salary (13U-19U teams)
- $1,100 of tournament reimbursement
- Club administrative fees
A payment plan is available and includes fees for additional transactions.
