Goalkeepers Coach


Sulemana is a former professional goalkeeper who played 20 years and is a native of Ghana. Sulemana’s competitive soccer career began when he was 15 with the Ghana Under 15 National Team.


He continued his soccer career with Real Tamale United FC in Ghana for 3 seasons. Sulemana took his talents to Power FC from Ghana where he was the goalkeeper for 2 years. 


Accra Hearts of Oaks F.C. competed in the African Champions league to which Sulemana was the goalkeeper for 3 consecutive years. 


Sulemana’s next endeavor was for the Ghana under 17 and under 21 National Teams. Sulemana also played for the Under 23 Ghana Black Meteors. After completing the Under 23 Ghana Black Meteors Sulemana then played for the Senior National team called Black Stars in 2007.


He embarked his goalkeeper career outside Ghana where he featured for Clube desporto de costa do sol of Mozambique. Sulemana played 3 seasons with the team. He also featured in the confederation cup for costa do sol.


Sulemana decided to move to Ethiopia and played for Dedebit FC where he featured in the African confederation cup. He played with the team for 1 season.


He continued his move to Maldives where he played for New Radiant SC. The goalkeeper from Ghana was the featured goalie playing in the AFC Cup for New Radiant SC. Sulemana played 1 season for New Radiant SC.


Sulemana moved back to Ethiopia to join Ethio-Electric SC. He spent 2 seasons with the team.


In 2019 he decided to retire. He moved to the United States to start his coaching career with Blast Academy in St Paul. He joined Mankato United in 2021.


Sulemana is a CAF D License holder. Utilizing his 20 years’ experience as a goalkeeper. Sulemana is looking forward to teaching the up-and-coming goalkeepers in the United States.
