Competitive Team Tryouts
As we prepare for the 2026–2027 season, we would like to invite both new and current players to attend our Competitive Team Tryouts.
New Players
If your child is interested in joining Mankato United's competitive program, the tryouts provide our coaching staff with the opportunity to evaluate each player and determine the team that best matches their current ability and supports their long-term development.
Current Mankato United Players
We also encourage all current players to attend.
For players who would like the opportunity to challenge themselves and be considered for a higher-level team. Our goal is to place each player in the team that best supports their continued development while providing the appropriate level of challenge and competition. Team placement is based on several factors, including technical ability, tactical understanding, physical readiness, attitude, commitment, long-term potential, and the number of roster spots available on each team.
Please review the tryout schedule below and register your child in advance. Registration is free and required. It helps us plan appropriately and ensure we have enough coaches available to evaluate all players.
