Tournament Information

Welcome!

Mankato United Soccer Club invites teams to participate in FallFest, a soccer jamboree for MN Blue (formally Gold and C3) and rec-plus teams in U11-12 age groups. Finish the fall season with some fun!

FallFest will run from 9 am to approximately 6 pm on Saturday, October 9th, 2022 with play at the Caswell North Soccer Complex. We will have separate brackets for boys and girls teams in U11/12.

Our goal for FallFest is to provide players with an opportunity to experience the excitement of playing soccer in a safe, fair and fun jamboree environment.

Headquarters: Caswell North Soccer Complex.

Medical Assistance: Basic medical assistance will be provided on site. Local medical providers have been notified of the tournament. Teams are responsible for player transportation to medical facilities, unless an ambulance is required.

FallFest Rules

Mankato FallFest will follow FIFA rules except as modified by MYSA and the tournament. Please see Mankato FallFest Modified Rules of Play for complete tournament rules.

Check-in

Teams must submit an official roster and medical authorization forms for players. Check-in will begin at 7 am. Rosters are frozen at check-in. Players may not be on more than one roster.

All competitive and Rec-Plus players must have valid player passes. Rec players must be listed on a team roster.

All referees will be certified USSF officials. We will be following the MDH and MYSA recommendations for social distancing.

Games

Each team will play three games. We will use a round-robin tournament generator for the festival (http://www.teamopolis.com/tools/round-robingenerator.

). Each game will consist of 2, 25 minute periods.

FallFest is a player-centered event. Everyone present will be responsible for helping to promote a positive atmosphere. Players, coaches, spectators and officials, will follow the code of conduct as described in the MYSA Policies and Rules Manual.

Procedures for red cards will follow the MYSA Policies and Rules Manual.

Roster limits for each team is 16 players.

Fallfest Team Registration Fees is $200/team.

Registration Deadline: September 18, 2022.

Acceptance: Mankato Fallfest accepts teams based on date of registration. Once brackets are full, any additional teams will be placed on waiting lists. Teams will receive notification of acceptance no later than September 18, 2022.

Withdrawal: A team that withdraws before September 18th, will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee. If another team is available to take the place of the team withdrawing, then the withdrawing team will receive a 100% refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. Teams that withdraw after September 25 will receive no refund.
